Hi!
It seems there have been two kinds of whaling ships since the early 20th century:
- the kind that harpoons the whale
the kind that takes the carcass and renders it down into oil, meat, bone, etc.
The new model is more the processing ship than a ship with a harpoon (try modeling that kind of damage against a U-boat
), so isn't the new model is more of a "umgebautes fabrikschiff" (or whatever) than an "umgebautes walfangschiff"?
