Same tactics.. with this "lighter AI" mod installed it's possible to sneak into their (escorts ) wake and shoot sideways on merchants, but, o boy,
they can hear well too... I risked a fast PD 45 degrees approach with "Ahead standard"
and I was immediately detected at 3300 m (+-100m)... so don't be louder than "Ahead Slow" in calm water... that isn't so low speed... in ten minutes you can cross distance of 1220m... funny thing the crew immediately started to whisper the moment I was detected... how do they know
