You can edit your renown to your liking - while docking.

In your MyDocuments you'll find ...\SH3\data\cfg\Careers\YourKaleun'sName\patrols_0.cfg

Open with notepad/editor, scroll down and edit the DeltaRenown of the last shown patrol to the sum you want to own..
It is the data for your next sortie "in port before leaving" - or similar.
