I've been using Star Downloader for years, and have never had any problems with it. If you take the time (2 seconds) to read the 5th line down on the Rapidshare chart (the one with the Premium/Free buttons on the bottom) it says "Support for download-accelerators" will not work for Free access, only for Premium. On sites that don't block them (accelerators), Star Downloader works like a charm. Being able to pick up where you left off (resume) a d/l has saved me hundreds of hours over the years, let alone it's ability to do 'multiple' d/l's of the same file at the same time from the same site. For those with dial-up a d/l accelerator is almost required for MEGA MB downloads, UNLESS you like to get 98% of the file downloaded and have the connection lost and have to start from scratch again, and again, and .....

Just my 2-cents worth.
