Depends on the class and the materials. Most classes are one design (a single hull outline and material is prescribed in the rules), but there are some Open classes, where the hull is only limited to dimensions and sail area. Those are the expensive ones. Each year the national/world Champion's hull is now "the one to have", so thats the expensive one each year, usually molded from carbon fiber and other exotics.
