Definitely. I won't pre-order a game...and I won't ever buy one on day one. There are times where I buy a new game...but that's very rarely.
The Alien/Predator series just has a bad credit score. It needs a few good games to make it alright with the fans.

First time I saw the first Alien was last year.
I had seen Aliens in 2nd Grade and loved it. Alien 3 in 4th Grade...
I don't remember being scared. I just remember loving it. They were good movies.
Dead Space does good as a space-survival-horror. I had an extra copy of it but gave it away already. There are people at GoG who are sitting on copies of it if you don't want to buy it.
But it just isn't the Xenomorph action you want.
AvP2 was a great game....too bad I lost the disc for it. AvP1 is on Steam...but I never have bought it.
