If you're not facepalming yourself, then you're not trying hard enough to learn.

Facepalms are required to learn lessons, take it with a grain of salt and go back to the drawing board. Once you figure it out, it will be a sense of accomplishment like no other.

Try modifying code manually, now that's where I've facepalmed myself many times!

People take jabs at me from time to time because i've never put down a capital ship in SH3 since I started playing it years ago. What they don't know is I play with 100% realism, tons of mods to increase realism, and I hold myself to real historic parameters not modeled in the game.

The people that say "I've sunk Rodney 5 times!" usually won't mention that they were playing 0% realism while doing everything in external view. How can that bring any sense of accomplishment? If I did that I would just quit playing the game due to lack of challenge.
