The first amendment protects you against the government limiting your speech. A private entity such as A&E networks doesn't have to respect your speech or give you a platform.
When a redneck who is so religious that he ends every show with a prayer says redneck things that a very religious person would say, I don't see why this is a shock. So those who are outraged should shut up. And A&E can do whatever they want with a show they own, so those who are outraged that he was canned should shut up too.
In short, everyone everywhere should shut up. Simple.
