I to once played 688 back when there was a good online community for the multiplayer aspect of the game. I miss having multi-player co-op or last sub to survive wins the match multi-player sessions.
Having the enemy actually be another human made it far less predictable when it came to hunting in open waters with a Los Angeles class attack boat.
