This sounds so familiar
I've not been here that long too and what I found to work best is do both: play the game
while reading all the posts.
Somehow my captain has attached an LCD screen to that incredibly cool Enigma machine so we have strongly encrypted internet all of the time on my sub LOL
Only problem so far is that the signal of the wireless lan installation fades very rapidly when going under but that's in emergency's only normally and we really don't have time to check the mail anyway
