The only point in their defence is the fact that a year or so ago Westminster took such decisions out of the politicians ability to vote for the above.
Thid is now decided by an independant body who appear to be hell bent on giving them the increase.
Should this happen I would like to see a public listing of those MP's who don't donate the money to charity.
The Tory cabinet have already agreed en mass not to take the money but no surprises there as the vast majority of them are millionaires.
