Is there a way to have map contact updates disabled but still see hydrophone lines on navmap? If not, would it be difficult to mod it in? (I've 0 experience with modding this game.)

If you want to know why I need this, it's because I like playing with no contact updates but I'm not really into manually using the hydrophone, I want the sound guy to do all the work and have it displayed on the map.
