Well... maybe they don't like the whole "stay on the surface" deal, which is not such a good idea once the allies get radar... but for the "happy days" era, it's great

Paul Wasserman's method uses the stadimeter to get range, wich allows you to be submerged, but I won't repeat it... read it directly from the source, its great
