Because most sources I found, stated that U-505 only used 4 emblems and the 2nd flotilla emblem isn't one of them.
The other thing that confuses me is that U-552 was in a completely different flotilla group

Both U-505 and U-522 were in the 2nd and 4th Flotillas. The 4th was a training Flotilla and was not assigned an emblem.
