Many thanks for the quick (and accurate!) post.

What a monster piece! And it's nice to let the contrabasses (or their equivalent on some keyboardist's left hand) have a few windows where the audience remembers those guys over there on the right are actually making sound.

Bach (I believe) was quoted as saying something to the effect that "....the voice of God is in the bass instruments." In my case, it's more like the voice of the Munchkins, or maybe lesser Trolls, but I still try

What a great piece for a community orchestra to pull off, with some extra percussion for the bit from 4:16 to the end. It doesn't seem to need especially virtuosic players.
