Shiraz is/was a notable middle eastern varietal! The place is modeled after an ancient Persian temple-literally 'gittin' back to yer roots. The rule for commercial sleeper team drivers (back in the day) was 'nothing imbibed 8 hours before setting out' ; I cannot fathom a lesser standard for pilots...
