A+ is highest
B Above average
C Average
D Below Average
F Fail
A movie that is C+ is between a C and a B. One could quibble about the differences between a C+ and a B-
In the US we also use a 4.0 scale
4.0 = A
3.0 = B
2.0 = C
1.0 = D
0.0 = F
But then we have a lot of kids graduating highschool with a 5.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale.
