This has happened a couple of times previously, I feel it's a shame that a lonely old man has to die before people pay attention to him.

But I also feel it's a shame that some die and only have a dozen or two of the family there and nobody else even gets a chance to say thank you in this manner. I'd like to seen details of all veterans' funerals published unless explicitly requested not to by the family.
