At 1,000 mph on land, your margin for error is approximately zero.
Anything, anything that is not perfection will probably result in a horrible accident. The problem is that only a fraction of the influences are under his control. A clump of sand in the wrong place...A slight shift in the winds....Even passing through a different temperature zone... I doubt he would survive.
Is it really worth the risk? I guess if this is what this man want's to do. Best of luck to him.
