Actually, the Pacific island most reshaped by Atomic testing was probably Eniwetok, an atoll to the west of Bikini Atoll. That's where you'll find the Cactus Dome which was placed over a 350-foot wide crater left by a 1958 hydrogen bomb test. Some of the islands which compromise the lagoon there were vaporized and no longer exist.
In the game, places like Eniwetok and Bikini are just empty, peaceful lagoons for the most part.
