gets over written by RSRD so if there is a corruption in the file in some way it might cause this.

I'd love to see an overhead version of your photo to see the shape of those white marks. Could be a sensor grid or bounding box but I just do not see a bounding box being that large around the vessel in a game like this. I would simply uninstall everything, make sure your game is clean on a fresh re-installation and then add your mods one by one.

After each installation reboot, run the game and check for that ship. Add another mod then reboot and run the game and check the ship again. Do this until you see the white box and you'll know which mod did it. If the white box never shows up again then it may have simply been a corrupt section of one of the RSRD files that got cleaned up after a fresh installation.
