I did another test with FXU 22 TDW_FXU_Flares_Materials.DAT file, and it too worked just fine, and I'm still using v21.
So the CTD's shouldn't be related to your FX updates version either.

This is always a possibility, but I still hope there is some more direct reason for possible troubles.
