Diego Garcia has been actively used by the USAF for the past 15 years B-1Bs and B-52s fly from there all the time.
I do not like the the media name kind of lame SR-72 lame.Of course Skunk Works loves it when people chase shadows.
This to a large extent reminds me of the "Aurora" project which is interestingly supposedly a hyper sonic spy plane.Probably one in the same I recon.
