I had a 1944 mission out of Bergen a short while ago where an aerial armada of B-24s swept just as I was leaving the breakwater behind. Closest thing I've seen yet to being bombed while still in port. |
Irea somewhere in one of the forums that they suppose to be bomb proof? but not weather proof,and my watch officer can see right through then thick concrete walls and spot ships and aircraft,I don't trust this game one bit.
Am fairly certain I can shoot down a plane while am in a sub pen,if my WOcan spot ships and planes through solid concrete am sure I can shoot a plane down but am not going to sit around and find out
at the mo am in 41 but when I get back into 45 I might have a go.
