Actually he started by saying he had uninstalled the game and add-ons because they were "rubbish". Only then did he mention U-play.
Saying he is addressing Ubisoft is like me being angry at you, but yelling at my girlfriend about it. Then when she tells me I'm being mean I tell her "hey, I was yelling at Webster, not you..."
I do think there were some over-reactions. My point was simply that I didn't understand why the OP was surprised there was backlash to his comments.
