Welcome aboard.
Give yourself some time to learn and adjust. manual firing is a very complex procedure that is all trigonometry. Until you have learned it well, feel free to use and abuse your weapons officer or automatic targeting. Even if your solutions are perfect, a faulty eel will ruin the whole affair.
If your map is not in English, it makes me wonder what mods you are running. I know for a fact that the map in GWX is in German.
