Well, we've only just got power back on, thirty hours after the event, had a pretty nasty gust which took it out, also tore off some fence panels at a nearby building site, downed a tree and removed some tiles from our roof.
Good thing that we decided to come back from London on Sunday though since the railways shut down for all of Monday and the buses only started again in the afternoon after a double-decker got itself knocked over in the wind.
As for myself, I used the same procedure for dealing with this storm as I did for the 1987 one...I slept through it...
