I agree, in many instances, the 'old fashioned' ways are the better ways. Don't get me wrong, we've got a lot of good laws in place now to help prevent animal cruelty, but there are so many loopholes and instances where the law doesn't apply or is open to abuse that sometimes you have to wonder which is better.
