How do super strong unbreakable antennas make a sub realistic? Where's the proof that real subs can extend their antennas at high speed?

With DWEdit you can change the max Speed parameter of sensors. (it seems it is default 0) So for playables it is likely hardcoded. And changing executable code is not allowed according to the EULA.
