Default Patience

Hunting is a game of patience, regardless of the game.

The coastal waters campaign has a marker that when clicked highlights a circular area (half circle) around the British coast as your patrol area. Look in the Western side of that line.

In the Atlantic, the convoy routes go into the Irish Sea from the North and South. You are looking for them in the area 50 degrees to 55 degrees and East of the 17th degree Long.

You have to forget the arcade style play. Get immersed in being at sea in a sub and use the time to become familiar with what to do when you do find a target. Test your sub dive times and recharge time on the batteries.

Listen to music. You can put your own mp3 music into the gramaphone and radio folders.

I don't know what mods you have, but they add some realism.

Read the radio messages as they give Long and Lat details that tell you where enemy ships are passing. Hang around those areas.

Don't forget to tour your boat and speak to the crew. That raises morale.

This isn't Call of Duty.
