Your comparison is good, but you looked for GTX 550 Ti... I'm looking GTX 650 Ti Boost... not 500 but 600. And version "boost". It's little better than Radeon 7850. But I know that Radeon is great for OC (then 7850 has performance of stock 7870).
And prices... Remember I have only 70$ now... so I have to wait now
. But if I'm collecting money, I'll be able to buy some good card... And we have to remember, that Radeons 7850 and 7870 (1GB versions) have end-of-life status... maybe better is to wait for Radeon 9000 series (October), and for riposte of Nvidia - cheap GTXs 750 and 760... But now I'm waiting, collecting money and have enough time for thinking...
