They shouldn't. Neither party should, but as Tribesman and Ducimus pointed out, it is a free press, the networks are free to choose whomever they want to support, and different networks pander to different parties.
Anyway, I don't watch any of the networks' News programs anymore. I haven't for a long time. I just watch the local news and read some AP articles from my home page.
