The payload capabilty of the UAV is titillating - opening up a range of new tactical options. Seeding what where ?
Maybe some of the smaller proposed range of UUVs under development would be ideal candidates ?
But returning to gameing - it would be great if someone could mod the UUV do some of the fancy things being spun
by the military. I think LW used some of the UUV stuff to do the torp 'show active track' mod which was withdrawn.
You might consider longer ranges, sleeper mode, an Ami variant of depth and speed control. An interesting
extension of function would be surfacing (ariel-less) to act as a llink communicator. This in addition to the
reported MOSS functions. Dont know whether anything is possible.
The deception and surveillance functions are appealing. :hmm:
Heck - sorry, its easy to say would'nt it be great when you have no concept of the amount of work entailed.
