The word "movie" comes from "moving picture".
So das boot is a movie for sure. Good or bad is determined on the content, in this case i feel it is good.
What people do wrong is taking the "classic" idea of a movie, romance, violence, dialogue and such.
A movie does not always have to have "love" in it to make it good movie. Although hollywood will likely disagree.
