I don't follow baseball as much as I used to. Loved going to see the Twins play at Met Staduim back in the 1960's! Killebrew, Allison, Oliva, Carew etc. Those were great games back then, except when the Yankees came to town. Couldn't shut down the likes of Mantle, Maris, Howard,Berra, Ford and company!
The All Star games back then were something to watch too. It wasn't often that you could see the likes of Willie Mays, Hank Aaron, Orlando Cepeda, Matty Alou, Ernie Banks, Sandy Koufax, Bob Gibson,Juan Marichal, playing together on one team!
On the American League side, you would have Harmon Killebrew, Mickey Mantle, Elston Howard, Brooks Robinson, Boog Powell, Tony Oliva, Al Kaline, Norm Cash, Sam McDowell, Gary Peters, Camilo Pascual, Whitey Ford plus a host of others.
