There is a mod that give s boats operating out of dutch harbor cold weather clothing, its perfect but unfortunately the crearor no longer mods for SH 4.Would someone with the knowledge please, create a cold weather clothing mod for fleetboats.Enable before patrol is fine via JSGME.
This mod is terribly needed as a mod I am working on drastically improves traffic in RSRD off northern japan, sea of okhotsk, kuriles etc so players will spend a lot of time in cooler climate, immersion matters in this sim.I have tried to figure it out but just not sure what am doing as far as those files are concerned.Someone would please help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Absolutely concur, BH.
My old man often recalled with a shudder the fact that the Australian Navy, in all it's wisdom, only issued Great Coats for half of the Watch Crew. That meant if there was a General Call out on their ship in the South China Sea during the Korean "Police Action", half the lads froze in 'Brass Monkey' weather.
One experience was indelibly etched - one night in a gale and freezing rain, the whole crew were scrambled and issued with cutting and hammering implements - whatever they could lay hands on. So much ice was accumulating on the superstructure that the frigate was not recovering from rolling and was getting close to the turn-turtle point. So, for 6 hours they had men clambering all over chipping ice of decks and all superstructure trying to get rid of the hundreds of tons of accumulated cold stuff.
They lost many tools over the side that night when blokes dropped them because they could no longer feel their hands. They kept swapping the great coats - a bit like the old joke about the galley slaves getting new underwear - port watch swap with the starboard! Lots of frost bite that night.
So, you have my vote!
