I'd be really really surprised if anybody failed to pick up on the Mancuso reference - tbh he's the only character whose name I can remember - Didn't he get a part in Red Storm rising too, after his promotion?
I don't know of anything that will help with the chronometer, but there's a Bigger, Better Protractors mod that really makes a difference with the nav tools. my eyes are past their sell by date too
