Jim's kindly given me permission to add my pics to this thread, there are only six - I was using camera phone which has a lens defect so pics have been edited to remove that, and/or cropped and resized.
1/2. On arrival at the southern end of the airfield we had to cross 02's threshold but wait whilst a 5 Sqn Sentinal took off. This aircraft was to return later in the day escorted by the Red Arrows - I'd seen them the day before whilst on a bike ride but I couldn't tell exactly what the aircraft was and despite flying right over my village the wife didn't know either (other than it was with the Red Arrows!). Minutes after the Sentinal/Reds flew by they were followed by the Lancaster. Happy cycling.

I also bumped into a mate who is aircrew on Sentinals, had a peek inside and my little girl sat in the pilot's seat - very excited. Then we had a look down in the business end - very boring, nothing was switched on, three consoles (running Windows!!!) for the imaging/battlespace management and that's about it.
3/4/5. Red Arrows, and the heart they make in the sky. Apologies for the poor quality.
6. What I went for. Luckily we were parked not far from 02's threshold, so just about everything touched down right next to us - particularly the Vulcan.
