It is the same when your running Operation Monsoon. Some of the original ships will have holes, mostly warships, but there are plenty of merchants and tankers that never show the damage. I like to see it, simply for satisfaction. It is especially satisfying when you have a type VII U-Boat with only three forward tubes, two in reserve and no deck gun. Talk about make sure your shots count.
