the more i experiment with the hydrophone the more im beginning to
realise how screwed up it really is. Was in the navigation training mission
where there are pleanty of ships to moniter and asked the sonar operator for a bearing on the nearest contact and got a reply 'no sound contact".
I then raised the scope and there was a freighter right in front of me.
Tried the same experiment with other ships and sometimes wlould get a
bearing and others the "no sound contact". I there something wrong with the the sim or something im doing wrong.
