Having supported the USSS when I was in the military, the most help any POTUS can ever do for a disaster area is to stay the hell away. His presence does nothing but disrupt.
I know that it is a photo op, but I really wish the POTUS (all POTUS) would stay home when there are these disasters.
Their support is best done in DC with coordinating the Executive Branch... but that does not make a good photo op.
