Thanks, I thought this might be the case. Since it has never happened before I had to consider it as a possible bug and wanted to see if it was part of the game.
I play once dead even if it is a fluke so U-712 will RIP and I start over once again.
BTW, I almost always shoot under 500 meters so having sunk hundreds of ships and never once having this I will take my chances and continue to "be more aggressive" :rotfl:
