Same thing. For years I used a small set of drawers similar to that for my TV stand. It gives you a place to store the Playstation and all the extra cables you collect over time. I don't have a TV anymore so I gave mine to a neighbor in need.

I do, but I don't anymore because I got so tired of that very problem. I keep a pair of glasses that are focused somewhere in-between. They are perfect for the computer, good for across-the-room and not too bad for long-distance viewing. For reading and close-in work I just take them off. My natural focal length now is less than one foot.
