But with the Gold version you get a u-boat sim with the same bells and whistles, and with OM it is every bit as good as SH3 with a decent supermod. That said, GWX4 would have added and changed so much, I almost cry every time I think about it.

Same here.
I go back and forth between SH3 and SH4 - SH3 for the mods and SH4 for the gameplay.
But then I stil play AOD and SH1, so what to I know?
