As far as the label in SH3Cmdr goes, it's simply "density" for plain English reasons. "Water scattering coefficient", or even "Water murkiness" would not be as clear to all international users as the simple "Water density", the accepted vernacular. I could change it to "Water clarity", but really don't see the point, unless there's a huge push for it.
