He's a fairly regular guest on the Bob & Tom radio show - I listen almost every morning at work and on the drive into the office.
In this area he's most famous for the Big Butter Jesus song, which he wrote about a local religious landmark... a giant statue of Jesus put up by a church up north of here. It was also commonly known as "Touchdown Jesus" because of the way the figure was posed. Oddly enough
it burned down after being struck by lightning a few years ago.
