I just re-tested it again, this is a clean install of SH5. I even started it online so it could be reg and updated. When I say playing in off-line mode I mean like how STEAM dose it. Logged in "OFF-LINE MODE" and dissconnected from the Inet. This is "REAL" off line mode because there is no internet connection at all. And you can play Half-life 2 or SkyRim or what ever all day long and not be bothered by STEAM for anything.
When I hear it is fixed I am thinking like ROCKSTAR games of GTA V, were you can play in "OFF-LINE MODE" Dissconnected from the Internet. But you can not save games.
As long as you have to be connected to the Internet in order to play anything, there is no Off-line mod. So this option is redundant by 100 fold... My statement still stands..... |
Well, I just tested this and it worked for 2 hours with no glitches or problems.
I launched Uplay Launcher.
I disabled my internet (by shutting down the controller completely)
I played for 2 hours with no CTDs or any other problems.
