It still didn't make for a pretty picture. I've seen some pretty disturbing injuries in my day. That isnt anywhere near the top...but it's not pretty.
I've seen a picture of this local guy's hand. He cut it on a table saw and you could pick out the tendons that move the fingers AFTER he had surgery on it.
There was one of this lady who had lost a leg in an explosion and that one was not pretty.
It's sad though. Looks like he took a pretty big hit there in the ribcage. That's big enough to fit a hand inside.
I'm just glad that we finally got those #%#@(%# and put them in their place.
