I think this time it goes deeper than that. In fact even mentioning the reasons behind gun manufacturers taking this stand seems to be more about constitutional issues rather than about money. Think about it, keep making money from citizens and government agencies, or, stop making money and prohibit the sale of guns to the said parties.

Certainly not to stand up for gun owners and law-abiding citizens, the 2nd amendment and their Constitutional rights., that's for sure.





At the present time crime is rampant and people are becoming more desperate with economic issues, it's vital that state and local government support the People's right to defend themselves from would-be crims.
The Cops have absolutely nothing to fear from law-abiding citizens with guns.
Until they change the laws back to something similar to what the Country was founded on, these gun manufacturers will keep their stance.
I applaud them.
