Like the title of the thread says it's the surface radar
At least as far as I know. I havn't come across any planes so I don't know if they show up. All I know is that the game treats it as if the surface radar isn't on the boat even though it is.
I thought that since the propblem started when my current porpoise had it's conning tower refitted maybe getting a new boat and installing new upgrades might make a difference. I'm just speculating
